Myself
"Blogging" is "in". But what is a weblog? Wikipedia explains in detail this definition.
I was fifteen years old, when I got my first diary as a gift. More then twenty diary followed in all this years. They contained not only text but also letters from pen pals, photos, tickets and my greatest treasure, the signature of John Lennon. As a Beatles fan I rummaged all my English words together and I sent them a little letter to the Palace Hotel St. Moritz. And lo and behold, I got an answer. Whether the signature is real or fake - I do not know.
Unlike my diaries my blog contains only a fraction of my thoughts, impressions and experiences.
From time to time a poem from my homepage - or a haiku - also funny remarks of my grandchildren appears on these sites. Why this name "Japanoma"? This is easily explained: My passion for Japan, and my grandchildren. ;-)
The weblog is also networking with other bloggers. Meeting people who never cross my path in real life.
My aim is that in the future my grandchildren know more about their Nani than it was at my childhood. Loves one past away and it is no longer possible to ask them. My grandmother read and knew much. However, this thinking passed away with her.
